Building Spirit from the Start
Our cheer program begins with introducing the younger students to the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun, team-focused environment. These young leaders bring energy to our youth football games and learn the value of hard work, confidence, and team spirit.
Cheer is about more than chants and stunts — it’s about commitment, character, and growing into leadership. Athletes refine their skills, support school teams, and serve as role models on and off the sidelines.
Pride. Performance. Presence.
Salado High School Cheerleaders lead our student section, represent our school at competitions, and create an atmosphere of unity at every event. Our cheer athletes train year-round in strength, skill, and school spirit.

Coach Dani Prosser, Director of Cheer
’ve been living and loving Texas for almost six years, and through military life, I’ve had the opportunity to travel and experience the world. I’m a proud single mom to my daughter, Austyn.
Cheer has always been a big part of my life. I started at a young age and continued through high school, college, and NCA. I also had the opportunity to coach youth during my time as a high school cheerleader and now support my daughter in her cheer journey, which has deepened my passion for youth development.
As Director, my focus is on growing participation, strengthening skills, and creating opportunities for our athletes to be involved and visible within the community. I’m passionate about building a positive, inclusive program where athletes can develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for the sport.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring antique stores and having lunch on a patio, and I love being involved in the community whenever I can.

Coach Kayle Hale
've lived in Salado for 3 years with my husband and our 6 kids-every one of them is proud to be in Salado ISD. We love this community and are grateful to be part of such a special place.
I graduated from LSU three times—most recently with my MBA in Accounting. I'm also very proud of my Master's degree in Leadership & HR Development.
I spent many years in the military mentoring younger generations, an experience that shaped my passion for helping others grow.
Today, I continue that mission in a professional capacity-empowering individuals to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.
I'm looking forward to supporting all of our cheer girls as we build lasting friendships, experience a sense of community, and ensure every practice and event is more than just cheer.
My primary focus is ensuring every cheerleader is heard, participating, and confident in their abilities—individually and within the team.
As a mom of 6, these things are extremely important to me.
Cheerleaders Are Culture Builders
Our cheerleaders are more than performers — they’re culture-setters. They lead by example, inspire school pride, and carry the energy of Salado Football forward through every season.
