Bridging Youth and Varsity

Salado Middle School Football is where potential turns into purpose. Our 7th and 8th grade teams focus on elevating fundamentals, mastering game concepts, and preparing every player for the high school system.

This is a critical growth phase — physically, emotionally, and mentally. We emphasize accountability, self-leadership, and team-first culture. Athletes start to feel the pace and intensity of high school football, but in an environment designed to help them grow.

1) Proper tackling and blocking technique

Our middle school coaches are deeply connected to the high school program and work in coordination with varsity staff to ensure continuity. Many are teachers, mentors, and former players committed to helping Salado athletes succeed.
